As a more positive option to traditional employee release, in certain situations our professionals may recommend and assist in the implementation of the Silent Program.
This program enables the released employee to confidentially begin our Career Continuation program while continuing to work at the company. During this so-called "silent period," the individual is expected to work and perform at a level of at least 50 percent normal efficiency. A bonus is often used as an incentive for the individual's maximum participation in the program and to help the individual move quickly to the right next work.
Companies that choose this option report a true "win-win" situation. The employee exits with marketability and dignity intact, as well as a decreased sense of resentment toward the company. The company, in turn, reduces stress and upheaval in the organization and realizes significant savings by avoiding hefty severance packages and potential litigation expenses.
