There are several crossroads, occurring at any
stage of a professional’s career, where a very distinct change or redefinition
is in order. Our Reinventing Yourself Programming is designed to facilitate
meaningful definition, strategy and tactics—in order to arrive at knowledgeable
choice. "Reinventing Yourself," then, is a unique
discovery process for those who have reached a point in their work lives when
the next step is a large question mark.
"I don’t
want to continue doing what I have been doing – So, what’s next?"
"I must find a new career, a new direction – But, which direction?"
"My job/company/profession is going away – What do I do now?"
This program delivery sequence is designed to provide information and assistance
to our Candidates in determining the next steps along their path to career
continuation. Candidates should meet with their consultant to determine if
there is a serious interest in looking at this option and if they should consider
this exploratory workshop experience. Some of the preliminary issues that
could be discussed include:
- Has the candidate conducted preliminary research on available options?
- Does the candidate integrate their interests and passion within their
chosen career?
- Has the candidate considered the emotional, psychological, and life
style changes that will be required?
- Has the candidate discussed this option with family members, colleagues
and others… and what do they think?
The Reinventing Yourself Workshop Series involves a sequence of consultation,
assessment and workshop experiences to aid our candidates in the definition
of career changing objectives.
