Career continuation makes good business sense. Companies that provide this service to exiting employees consistently report reduced costs, reduced unemployment compensation, less litigation, expedited organizational renewal, and improved productivity.
Our programs are not time-limited. We provide private coaches instead of public workshops and we offer individually designed plans instead of using a cookie cutter format. We partner with our candidates in a co-managed approach, providing the information they want and empowering them to take charge of their own career. Most important, we provide true career management instead of helping candidates find just any job.
Career continuation, our alternative to traditional outplacement, is designed
to teach an individual the skills necessary to find a new job, a new career,
or a new occupation. The program also provides one-on-one coaching and counseling.
It is a pragmatic, hands-on program designed to help candidates find their
right next work.
Topics and successful job search techniques to be covered include:
- Orientation
- Assessments
- Career Objectives
- Resume
- Correspondence
- Two-Minute Drill
- Network List
- Target List
- Marketing Strategy
- Interviewing
- Negotiation
- Technology
A participant or candidate in the program will learn:
- To write an attention-getting resume and related marketing materials
- To find the best job leads
- To make successful use of the Internet
- To build a wide network
- To effectively and successfully interview
- To negotiate compensation and benefits
We provide candidates with a variety of robust, online tools to assist their job search and facilitate their progress through the program.

Candidates will receive helpful up-to-date listings of recruiting firms, temporary/contract recruiters, and potential target employers.
Candidates receive instruction on how to use the Internet as one component of their job search. They also have access to our high-speed Internet connection at our career centers. Additionally, we have developed several proprietary online tools that our consultants can customize to facilitate candidate progress.
A successful program requires a commitment of time, effort and diligence by the candidate. The timeliness and success in finding a new position rests with the candidate. It is not the role of a career continuation counselor to find a candidate a job. It is our role to teach a candidate how to find a job.
Each candidate progresses at a different rate through his or her custom-designed program. Our continuation programs accordingly are not time-limited.
We offer flexible and customized programs to meet any budgetary needs.
Our team of over 40 trained career consultants has tremendous real-world
experience that translates to significant added value for both employers
and exiting employees.
