This track is designed to provide information
and assistance to our candidates in determining if full, traditional retirement
is a viable option in their career transition. Candidates should meet with
their consultant to determine if there is a serious interest in looking at
this option and if they should consider pursuing this track. Some of the preliminary
issues that could be discussed include:
- Is the candidate financially prepared to stop working for direct compensation?
- Has the candidate conducted preliminary research on retirement or developed
a retirement plan?
- Have they considered the emotional, psychological, and life style changes
that will be required?
- Has the candidate discussed this option with family members and what
do they think?
- Why is the candidate considering retirement at this time?
- Is the candidate willing to attend the appropriate informational sessions?
The Retirement Track incorporates a series of filtering levels from assessments,
development of a retirement plan, to a panel discussion of leading experts.
These steps are designed to aid our candidates in decision-making and preparation
for this career choice.
